Neil Gordon
Neil Gordon
Neil Perry Gordon achieved his personal goal as an author of historical-fiction with his first
novel—A Cobbler’s Tale, published in the fall of 2018. With dozens of reviews praising the
story and his writing style, he released his second novel—Moon Flower the following year. In the fall of 2019 the metaphysical fiction sequel to A Cobbler’s Tale—The Righteous One was published. His creative writing methods and inspiration have been described as organic, meaning that he works with a general storyline for his characters and plot, rather than with a formal, detailed outline. This encourages his writing to offer surprising twists and unexpected outcomes, which readers have celebrated. His novels also have the attributes of being driven by an equal balance between character development and face-paced action scenes, which moves the stories along at a swift page-turning pace.
Ready for 2020, Neil Perry Gordon once again explores the historical-fiction genre with two new novels: Hope City and The Bomb Squad. Hope City is the first in a series chronicling the 1898 Alaskan adventures of the protagonist—Percy Hope. While The Bomb Squad tells the World War 1 story of Max Rothman an American patriot, protecting the homeland from the German spy, Dr. Harold Schwartz. The author has attributed his love for the creative process from his formative years spent learning-to-learn at the Green Meadow Waldorf School. Steve Gorman
Steve Gorman
For over two decades, the Black Crowes topped the charts and reigned supreme over the radio waves, even as hair bands, grunge, and hip-hop threatened to dethrone them. With hits like "Hard to Handle," "She Talks to Angels," and "Remedy," their massive success launched them to stardom in the early '90s, earning them a place among rock royalty. They were on the cover of Rolling Stone, MTV played their videos 24/7, and Generation X re-discovered the power of classic rock and blues by digging into multi-platinum classics like Shake Your Money Maker and The Southern Harmony and Musical Companion.
Founding member Steve Gorman was there for all of it--the coke and weed-fueled tours; the tumultuous recording sessions; the backstage hangs with legends like Robert Plant, Jimmy Page, and the Rolling Stones. As the band's drummer and voice of reason, he tried to keep the Black Crowes together musically--and in one piece emotionally. In his first-person history of the Black Crowes, Hard To Handle--the first ever account of this great American rock band's beginning, middle, and end--Gorman makes it clear just how impossible that job was.
Hard to Handle weaves Gorman’s fleeting efforts to keep the Black Crowes intact with eyebrow-raising anecdotes that perfectly sum up, ‘work hard, play harder.’ Keep up to date with Steve on his Twitter here and pick up his book here or your local books store.

MERCED SOLIS aka TITO SANTANA
MERCED SOLIS aka TITO SANTANA
From the late 1970s to the early '90s, Santana was one of the company's top competitors. No matter how times changed, he always found a way to keep himself in the mix. He first made his name by winning the World Tag Team Championship with WWE Hall of Famer Ivan Putski in 1979, but that was just the beginning.
During WWE's mainstream renaissance in the mid-1980s, Santana was right there as one of the company's most popular Intercontinental Champions ever. In January 1984, he ended the yearlong reign of Don Muraco and even managed to regain the gold from Greg Valentine after being dethroned later in the year.
Santana and Hulk Hogan are the only individuals to have competed at each of the first nine WrestleManias. He and Rick Martel teamed up to form Strike Force and win the World Tag Team Championships. At the beginning of the 1990s, he would breathe new life into his career by adopting the persona of "El Matador," entertaining a whole new generation of WWE fans.
Whether it was WWE's regional days in the Northeast, the "Rock ‘n' Wrestling Era," or the '90s "New Generation," WWE Hall of Famer Tito Santana was there. You can Purchase His new book here, and visit his Facebook here.

BRAD MERRITT
BRAD MERRITT
Even among legends, 54‐40’s success across the decades is virtually unparalleled. Formed in Vancouver by Osbourne and Merritt on the cusp of the 1980s, the band with only three line-up changes since its inception - quickly caught on with discerning local audiences, mining that rarefied space between rock, punk, folk, and pop. The release of their self-titled album in 1986 heralded the arrival of a powerhouse with the songs "Baby Run", "Take My Hand", "I Wanna Know", and, especially "I Go Blind" steamrolling across alternative, campus, and commercial radio nationwide and beyond while cementing 54-40's status as songwriters of the highest order. Inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame in 2017 these boys keep rocking the world! you can check out their page here, or listen to their newest hit single "Keep On Walking" here or "Sublime Like Me" here
ERIC SCHENKMAN
ERIC SCHENKMAN
You may have seen ERIC SCHENKMAN, onstage before thousands of fans worldwide with the Spin Doctors. He is one of the band’s not-so-secret weapons — a vital songwriter and virtuoso guitarist who crafted the ‘90s band and co-wrote all five of their Top 100 hits. He also worked with Chico Hamilton, Carly Simon, Natalie Merchant, Noel Redding, Phoebe Snow, and Corky Laing, among many other notable musicians.
His self-produced third solo album, WHO SHOT JOHN? showcases the many sides of ERIC SCHENKMAN from raw, rockin’ blues to funk/soul/pop. With its elemental lineup of guitar, bass and drums, and songs that seldom stray beyond three chords it’s radio-friendly and familiar enough to draw listeners in. After that, the complexities reveal themselves. The proof is in the beats, in the intimacy of those late nights on the stage and through every moment of WHO SHOT JOHN?
Every track digs in deep and doesn’t let go, thanks to Schenkman’s voice, commanding guitar, and powerfully emotional lyrics. Schenkman nailed the grooves with long-time pals, drummers Van Romaine (Enrique Iglesias) and Cody Dickinson (North Mississippi Allstars) and co-producer/bassist Shawn Kellerman (Lucky Peterson), working in studios in Newark, NJ, Kitchener, NY and Memphis, TN. Each track crackles with the live energy he has cultivated for the last 30+ years on stage. Check out his new song here or visit him on facebook here. Want to pick up these sweet tracks? LLOYD KAUFMAN
LLOYD KAUFMAN
Llyod Kauffman is an American film director, producer, screenwriter, actor, and Co-Founder of Troma Entertainment. He has directed many films but experienced mainstream success with the violent, darkly comic superhero film The Toxic Avenger. The Toxic Avenger led to an animated television series, “Toxic Crusaders,” several different comic book titles (published by Marvel and, most recently, Troma’s own independent comic book imprint), and three sequels. The most recent film in the series is Citizen Toxie: The Toxic Avenger Part IV.
The success of The Toxic Avenger was followed by a string of commercial and artistic triumphs in a similar vein, blending fantasy, heavy action, comedy, and eroticism in a style that can only be described as “Tromatic”. These films, including the Class of Nuke ‘Em High series, Sgt. Kabukiman, N.Y.P.D., and Troma’s War were often ignored or scorned by the intelligentsia of the time but spoke to an entire generation of young people who rejected the pandering, commercial films of the mid-to-late ’80s. Some of these Troma fans went on to become filmmakers themselves, including Quentin Tarantino, Kevin Smith, Mike Judge, Peter Jackson, and Trey Parker. Thanks to these admirers, Kaufman has been asked to make cameo appearances in films like Trey Parker’s Orgazmo and Eli Roth’s Cabin Fever.
Lately, Kaufman and the Troma Team have begun to win respect from even their harshest critics. Tromeo & Juliet became a surprise theatrical and critical hit, earning the grand prize at the Fanta Festival in Rome.
Kaufman has received the Lifetime Achievement Awards at the Fantasy Film Festival of Amsterdam, Sitges Film Festival, Brussels Festival of Fantasy and others.
Kaufman is also a tireless innovator, constantly using new developments in technology to foster the growth of independent art. Troma has a dynamic web presence with Troma.com, TromaDance.com, and Troma Now. All three sites provide news and entertainment, as well as providing an outlet for Troma to sell videos, DVDs, clothing, Tromabilia, and other products from the Troma Universe directly to their fans.
